Tim Nash, the "Sustainable Economist” is speaking in two events in Toronto
Open to everyone from experienced angel investors to retail investors to those simply curious about impact investing. It will feature a panel discussion with representatives from three ventures currently listed on the SVX platform: SolarShare, CoPower, and World Tree. Following the panel, Tim will share tips about understanding the risks associated with impact investing & how to easily activate impact within your investment portfolio through the various options.
Tim is interviewing Toby Heaps, CEO and Co-Founder of Corporate Knights and they'll be discussing reasons why investments so often clash with values, and describe practical solutions for investing in a more sustainable economy. Expect this one to get a bit more heated, as Toby and Tim are opinionated about these topics
