Christine has been a Design Strategist, Educator, and Facilitator for over 15 years.  During her almost-10-year stint as Director of Interactive at TVO, she was Executive in Charge of Production on more than a dozen transmedia & public education campaigns.  Having worked primarily in the public sector, Christine has experience with strategic design of both digital and in-person business models, for both startups and “one-off” campaigns.

An experienced trainer and educator, Christine teaches Web Development in the Interactive Media Management program at Centennial College, and Data Analytics and Visualization in Continuing Studies at OCADU. She has delivered workshops in strategic communications, pitching and presenting, content marketing, and business planning.   

Passionate about impact through technology, Christine was recently awarded a grant by the National Science Research Council to develop a kids coding app, based on a business model she designed and developed through the MaRS Incubator Program.  

Research Interests
Machine Learning monetization models.  The potential for new technologies like Blockchain to provide a platform for transparent exchanges of value for greater social impact.  Tech giants have leveraged opensource technology to build their empires: why can’t our institutions do the same? And why are governments and education being left behind when it comes to who we trust to fix the world?
